Don Kenedy Majors, Sr., 80, of Moses Lake passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer, in Columbia Crest Care and Rehabilitation Center in Moses Lake. Don was born September 13, 1929 in Star City, AR to William L. and Bula Clo (Fletcher) Majors.

Don will be fondly remembered for his love of music, playing the mandolin, guitar, harmonica, singing and visiting his friends at the Moses Lake Senior Center, along with perusing the latest goods at the Farmer's Market. He also liked to paint and draw with charcoal. He was well-liked and will be remembered for his dedicated and "spirited" service for several years as a Bell Ringer for the Salvation Army during the Christmas season; he often wore a Santa Claus hat and gave special treats to the passing children. He was often seen wearing a favorite hat, and he looked quite "Dapper" in it!

Don is survived by one sister, two daughters and one son, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and several friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother and his parents.

Don's family would like to extend a special thank you to Janet Letting for your help, loving care and compassion over the last several years.

A private family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
