David Ryan Bowdle age 37, of Soap Lake, WA passed away on July 30,2010 at home surrounded by his family and friends after a 15 1/2 year battle with lymphedema.

David Ryan Bowdle age 37, of Soap Lake, WA passed away on July 30,2010 at home surrounded by his family and friends after a 15 1/2 year battle with lymphedema. He was born July 12, 1973 to Ralph & Susan (VanAucker) Bowdle in La Grande, Oregon.

David served in Demolay and several local bands. He was a huge fan of music and played guitar and drums. He graduated from Big Bend Community College and attended the University of Washington. During his education he had two cells named after him, a dinosaur and an antelope cell. He spoke to the 89th Congress of Worldwide Paleontologists in Kalispell, Montana. David was a friend to everyone; and was always there for anyone, all you had to do was call.

He is survived by his parents Ralph & Sue Bowdle of Soap Lake, Washington, and many, many dear friends.

David's family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, caregivers, friends, firefighters of District's 7 & 13 for their countless hours of service to David and his case manager Susan Corbin for always fighting for him.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 14,2010 at Bread of Life Church, 140 14th Ave. N.W., Ephrata, WA 98823
