Joanne L. 'Lynn' Gentry

Joanne L. “Lynn” Gentry, 66, of Warden took her final breath on the evening of April 23, 2010 at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake, WA. She was born on October 23, 1943 to Elsea A. Blakesley and Beatrice C. Boyd. She graduated from Ripon High School in Ripon, CA in 1961. Lynn was a cook for many years in the Warden schools cafeteria and spent eight years as a member of the Warden City Council. She enjoyed being outdoors and camping in the mountains. Her greatest joy were her children. She always seemed happiest when they called or came to visit.

Lynn is survived by her longtime boyfriend Don Davis of Warden. Her five children Ramon Martinez of San Antonio, TX, Antonio Martinez of San Antonio, TX, Vince Martinez of Modesto, CA, Crystal Gentry of Othello, WA, and Bo Gentry of Warden, WA. One sister, Barbara Tubbs of Las Vegas, NV and one brother Bob Blakesley of Casa Grande, AZ. She is preceded in death by her mother and father.

A memorial service will be held at the Warden Community Church located at 201 W. Third St. in Warden on Saturday, May 1 at noon with a reception following. Arrangements are in care of Kayser’s Chapel and Crematory.
