Public Utility District #2 of Grant County, Washington is seeking proposals for Quality Control Inspection and Training Services in Support of the Wanapum Generator Project, RFP #330-3034.

Firms must meet a minimum set of qualifications in order to be considered for evaluation.

These qualifications are:

  • Must have a license to do business in the State of Washington.
  • Must have provided similar services on projects with a minimum of 10 years direct

experience.

  • Must agree with the terms and conditions of the draft contact.

GRANT COUNTY WATER CONSERVANCY BOARD

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER OF GROUNDWATER

PERMIT Number G3-28106P

TAKE NOTICE:

The Desert Aire Owner's Association has made an APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER of Water Right to change Groundwater Permit number G3-28106P A to the Board. The Board has designated such application for active Board review, assigning it a number of GRAN-10-14.

That Ground Water Permit number G3-28106P with a priority date of September 26, 1985 has a current authorization for 2,250 gallons per minute, 558.4 acre-feet per year, for Community Domestic Supply and Non-Agricultural Irrigation use. The place of use is the Divisions 8, 9 and 10 of the Plat of Desert Aire and the second nine holes of the golf course all in Sections 15, and 22, of T14N, R23E, W.M in Grant County, Washington. The points of withdrawal are two wells located in the NW 1/4 SW1 1/4 and SW 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 22, T14N, R23E, W.M.

The proposed change is to change the place of use to the water service area boundary as defined in the Desert Aire Owner's Association most recent water system plan. The Water service area boundary includes the Divisions 1 through 10 of Desert Aire, the airport, the golf course, the marina and the rodeo grounds all at Desert Aire Washington located in Sections 15, 22, 23, 26, 27 of T14N, R23E, W.M. Maps of the existing and proposed place of use can be obtained from the Grant County Conservancy Board. The purpose of use, authorized points of withdrawal and amounts of water will remain the same.

Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the Board regarding this application. The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the Board held to discuss or decide on the application. Additionally, the Water Conservancy Board will consider written comments or information provided within thirty (30) days from the last date of publication of this notice, said written comments or information to be provided to its office located at 3953 Airway Drive, Moses Lake, WA 98837.

Any protests or objections to the approval of this application may be filed with the Department of Ecology and must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections. Protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50.00) recording fee and filed with the Cashiering Section, State of Washington, Department of Ecology, PO Box 47611, Olympia, WA 98504-7611 within thirty (30) days from April 27, 2010.
