Penny Sue Myre

Penny Sue Myre, age 46, entered into eternal rest April 12, 2010.

She passed away peacefully at her home in Moses Lake after battling Leukemia and many neurological complications. Penny was born in Spokane on March 18, 1964 to Otto and Jean Makus. She graduated from Shadle High School and worked in the dental field, managed a construction firm, and was a Permit Tech for Spokane County. One of Penny’s great compassion, was helping out friends and family. She wanted to relay a special thank you to all who helped her battle Leukemia, and those whom spent time with her while she was in Seattle for cancer treatment. Penny’s great sense of humor and loving compassion will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Penny is survived by her husband Kevin Myre, daughters Angela and Christian, step children Brooke and Jacob, sisters Wendy Hundley and Becky Mangis, brothers Russell Makus and Fred Makus, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the Covenant Christian Church, 5915 S. Regal St. in Spokane. There will be a reception after the service at the home of Becky Mangis.
