| April 20, 2010 9:00 PM

OTHELLO — Two teenagers were stabbed and an adult was shot during a fight on Fourth Avenue in Othello Sunday night.

A 14-year-old Royal City male was stabbed in the neck, a 16-year-old Sunnyside male was stabbed in the arm and a 20-year-old Othello male was shot in the leg, Othello police reported Monday. The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. All three victims were treated at Othello Community Hospital.

Police Chief Steve Dunnagan said gang members were involved in the fight but the reason for the incident is not clear.

About 15 to 20 people gathered in an apartment complex parking lot and began to fight, resulting in the injuries, police reported. The subjects involved fled the scene.

The incident remains under investigation and police expect to have more details by the end of the week, Dunnagan said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Othello Police Department at 509-488-3314, or people can send an anonymous text message to investigators by sending information to tip411 (847411).
