Ruby Ruth Wiltz, 99, a life long resident of Washington passed away in Walla Walla, WA on February 2, 2010. Ruby was born in Molson, Wa., the 4th of 14 children. She grew up and attended school in Chesaw. In 1928 she married George H. Wiltz in Greenwood, Canada and lived on their ranch south of Chesaw. In 1944 the family moved to Chewelah. It was in Chewelah that she became a certified Practical nurse, a profession she followed throughout her life. In 1949 they moved to Moses Lake. Because of the rapid growth of Moses Lake at that time and her nursing experience she became immediately involved in the medical community and was employed in The Good Samaritan Hospital and later worked in the Doctors clinic. In 1964 they again established a permanent residence in Chesaw and became involved in the communities of Oroville, Molson and Chesaw until 2001 when she moved to Walla Walla to be closer to her son.
