Woman arrested for drive-by shooting

MOSES LAKE — Tabitha A. Sanchez, 38, Moses Lake, was arrested for drive-by shooting and felon in possession of a firearm Tuesday night.

A drive-by shooting was reported on North Grape Drive in Moses Lake, police reported. When law enforcement arrived, they determined a residence was struck by the gunfire.

There were no injuries.

“Through the investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect,” police reported. “Subsequently, the suspect was located (on) Terri Lane.”

Authorities recovered a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol believed to be used in the shooting.

Police Capt. Dave Ruffin said he did not think the shooting was gang related. The reason for the shooting is not clear.

The incident remains under investigation.
