Hattie (Gardner) Hajjar

Hattie (Gardner) Hajjar, age 76, passed away on Sept. 22 in Yakima, Wash., after battling cancer for two years.

Hattie leaves behind her husband Peter Hajjar – two sons, John (Karen) Krantz, Patrick (Cindy) Sullivan, one daughter – Sandy (Douglas) Kon, and numerous grandchildren.

Hattie was a gal who could hit a golf ball out of sight and was always ready for a fun party. She loved people and could make friends easily and never knew a stranger.

A memorial will be held at the Terrace Heights Memorial Cemetery in Yakima, Wash., at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2009. Cards and flowers can be sent to Peter Hajjar at 1645 S. 272 St., Space 49, Federal Way, WA 98003.
