The Grant County Board of Health will hold a public hearing in the Public Works meeting room at 124 Enterprise St. SE in Ephrata on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the hearing will be to adopt Ordinance 2009-2, amendment to the fee schedule. Anyone wishing to comment regarding this matter should appear at the meeting.

Jim Wilson submitted an application for environmental review on Dec. 13, 2007. Additional required information was submitted Mar. 24, 27, 28, Apr. 1, 18, 28, July 29, 2008; June 9, July 6, Sept. 11 & 16, 2009. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on Sept. 23, 2009. The proposal is to install a tank and pump to sell aviation fuel. The site is located at the Municipal Airport at 11905 Road 4 NE, Parcel 25 of the Binding Site Plan of Lot 2, Municipal Tract 12. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Review, Title 16: Buildings and Construction, Title 18: Zoning, and Title 20: Development Review Process.
Written comments on this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on October 19, 2009. Persons who want to be informed of future actions, or the final decision, on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in MLMC 20.11, Appeals. The Grant County Multi Agency Communications Center (MACC) is soliciting an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for construction and improvement of a radio site facility for the public safety radio communications system. A mandatory site walk will be held October 6, 2009 at 11:00am beginning at MACC.
