Ramiro M. Lopez Sr.

Ramiro M. Lopez Sr., 62, passed away at Samaritan Hospital on September 13, 2009.

A visitation will be held at Kayser’s Chapel of Memories on Thursday, September 17, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009, from noon until midnight at 1760 Sutton Road, Othello.

Ramiro was born on May 4, 1947 in Mathis, Texas, to the late Doroteo and Simona Lopez. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and socializing with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was mechanically minded and enjoyed resolving problems.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betty Robin Lopez and their five children; Ramiro M. Lopez, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Lennard D. Lopez and his wife, Shelly, Donavon K. Lopez and his wife, Melinda, Cherilyn R. Lopez Baker and her husband, Stephen, Michael L. Lopez and his fiancée Becky Sims; his sisters, Lydia, Olga and Bertha; 18 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Ruben.
