Golf club wraps up men's season

MOSES LAKE — With the summer days beginning to shorten, the Moses Lake Golf Club is wrapping up the summer golfing seasons.

After a competitive men’s league season, Bob Dersanti and Gene Conroy defeated Brady Johnson and John Mills in a competitive nine-hole battle for the league’s top spot.

Although the men’s league has come to a close, the men’s and women’s Moses Lake Golf Club Championship matched are underway and the Moses Lake Golf Club will host the annual Sagebrush Shootout Couples Chapman Sept. 12 and Sept. 13. Entry forms for the Sagebrush Shootout Couples Chapman are available in the Moses Lake Golf Club pro shop.

While the summer golfing season is giving way to fall, the Moses Lake Golf Club wrapped the annual Moonlight Glow Ball Tournament last month. More than 100 golfers participated in the Hawaiian-themed event Aug. 28.
