Maria (Mary) Hernandez Gonzalez

Mary Gonzalez joined our heavenly father on September 3, 2009.

Mary was born June 2, 1945, to Maria De Jesus Hernandez and Mr. Jose (Joe) Hernandez in Valle De Santiago G.T.O., Mexico. Mary and Rojelio married September 1, 1963, and just celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. Mary and her husband have been long time residents of Moses Lake.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother Maria De Jesus Hernandez, her sister Gloria Hernandez, her two sons Angel and Angel, her brother-in-law Larry Mann, and her sister-in-law Dorothy (Dottie) Hernandez.

Mary is survived by her husband Rojelio (Roy) Gonzalez, and her five children and spouses – Steve and Mona Gonzalez, Jaime (James) and Pam Gonzalez, Marcos and Laura Gonzalez, Leroy and Heather Gonzalez, Melinda Gonzalez Guerrero, and her step-son Roy Jr., and Marina Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas.

Additionally, she is survived by her 21 grandkids, 12 great-grandkids, 1 brother (Robert Hernandez), and 8 sisters (Rachel Jalomo, Olga Gonzalez, Frances Jalomo, Carmen Oronia, Gloria Mann, Joann Reyes, Josie Hernandez and Yolanda Hernandez), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 12, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church, officiated by Rev. Felipe Pulido.
