SOAP LAKE SCHOOL BOARD

| October 29, 2009 9:00 PM

Curt Dotson is the best candidate for the Soap Lake School Board position 5. He was voted onto the school board four years ago when the school was struggling with public relations issues and a less than favorable atmosphere among board members and the administration.

He has stayed the course, gaining important experience while delivering on his original campaign promises, and along with other school board members turned things around at the school including new academic programs, responsiveness to the requests of the public regarding meeting protocol and location, and a 2009-2010 budget that insured no staff or teachers lost their jobs.

I have worked with Curt for ten years at Grant PUD. He is well organized, informed on key issues, he is responsive and most importantly, Curt doesn’t hesitate to speak on behalf of the subjects or people he has committed his efforts. He’s capable, hard working and has never hesitated to share his time, his ideas or suggestions.

He attended Soap Lake schools right through High School, going on to get a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Montana. He is committed to the school and the community. I cannot imagine a more dedicated individual to continue serving he needs of the young people in our community. He has my vote and my confidence.
