PATEROS, Wash. — The Wilson Creek Devils wrapped up first place in the North Central Washington 1B volleyball conference Tuesday night with a three-game sweep of Pateros.

Wilson Creek rolled to three straights win of 25-18, 25-11, and 25-18 to improve to 11-1 in conference play and 12-2 overall heading into Thursday evening’s conference finale with the Columbia Basin Secondary school.

Wilson Creek head coach Mike Ottis said Tuesday night’s victory set his team up heading into the postseason.

“We clinched first place with this (win),” he said.

“Even if we lose on Thursday we will have first place in the conference and the first seed into districts,” he said.

Wilson Creek senior Ksenje Fredere led the Devils at the net with 14 kills and Brynna Stevens supplied 10 kills in the victory.

Jackie Treat turned in another solid performance setting. Treat provided 33 assists in the victory.

Treat also was perfect from the service line Tuesday night, Ottis said.

“Jackie had a great performance from the service line,” he said. “She was 17-of-17 with 5 aces.”
