I am writing to endorse Ron Covey’s candidacy for city council and to urge you to vote for him.

I knew who Ron was in high school and have known him personally and professionally for nearly 30 years.

I decided when I wrote this letter to just lay out as clearly as I can why you should vote for Ron.

First, Ron is straight forward. There are no hidden agendas with Ron. What you see is what he is.

Second, Ron is honest and candid. Refreshing in a public official, don’t you think?

Third, Ron is friendly and outgoing. As the “face” presented on behalf of the City of Moses Lake, this is essential.

Fourth, Ron likes Moses Lake and is positive and upbeat about its future. He has been instrumental in improvements that have made the downtown area much more attractive.

Lastly, Ron has a professional background and education. He is well able to understand the complexities of city government and management and contribute to policy decisions involving the same.

I urge you to vote to reelect Ron Covey as city councilman for Moses Lake.
