Pirates open 2010 season on June 7

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Pirates will begin their quest for a second West Coast League championship June 7 with a six-game homestand to begin the season.
The West Coast League is a nine-team, wood-bat summer college baseball league and features some of the best players throughout the country.
Moses Lake will kick off the 2010 season at home with a three-game series with the Kelowna Falcons.
The 2010 West Coast League season will feature a league-record 216 games and play will begin Friday, June 4. Each team will play 48 games.
