Chiefs QB Club sells tiles to raise funds

| October 20, 2009 9:00 PM

MOSES LAKE — The Chiefs QB Club is selling personalized memory tiles to be installed at Lions Field beginning in spring 2010.

The personalized memory tiles will be displayed on the wall of the women’s bathroom near the home concession stand at Lions Field.

The 8-inch-by-8-inch tiles are available on a first-purchased, best-location basis, said Chiefs QB Club President Brian Dano.

“We want (the bricks) in an area where people could look at them,” he said. “We are going to start putting them up at eye-level.”

The tiles are available for $150 and can be personalized with up to six lines of text and up to 15 characters per line. Characters include letters, numbers, spaces, punctuation, dashes, and other symbols.

Proceeds from the personalized tiles will benefit Moses Lake athletics, Dano said.

“It is all going to be spent on equipment,” he said.

After personalized tiles are purchased, a proof of the text will be sent to ensure accuracy before installation begins next spring.

For more information or to purchase a personalized memory tile, contact Dano or Jennifer Carpentier at 509-765-9285.

Completed tile order forms can be faxed to Dano or Carpentier at 509-766-0087.
