Louise F. Swiger

Louise F. Swiger, 87, longtime Warden resident, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 at LakeRidge Special Care Center in Moses Lake.

Louise was born on October 18, 1921 in Walla Walla where she was also raised and educated. She was married to William E. Swiger for over 50 years - he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Warden Baptist Church and the Grant County Horse Association. She loved all horse activities; riding, open showing, and participating in horse activities at the Fair. Her family remembers her excellent cooking.

She is survived by one daughter, Nita Pederson, Warden; two sons, John Parrish, Moses Lake and William E. Swiger, Jefferson, Oregon; six grandchildren, Teresa A. Barnard, Moses Lake, DeWayne L. Wilson, Olympia, Michael A. Pederson, Warden, Roger Lee Pederson, Ephrata, Joey Parrish, Moses Lake and Earl Swiger, Alaska; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Swiger, one son, George Swiger, and a grandson, Keith Pederson.
