Grant County Prosecutor's Office
In the Oct. 6 letters to the editor, a woman asked a very important question. Could the county afford a $135,000 administrator at the prosecutor’s office? You know, she really hit on something!
Think of all the schools in our county – Moses Lake alone has eight elementary, two middle schools, Discover, the high school, the alternative school, plus the administration office. Think of the money we would save if we eliminated the principals (as they are the administrators of their individual schools) plus the administration office. The schools probably wouldn’t run as effectively, but think of the money saved.
I hope you all realize that I’m being facetious.
The Grant County Prosecutor’s Office certain does need an administrator – as do the afore-mentioned. How many lawyers and staff are employed? How many cases, trials, etc., in a month? Angus Lee has administrative skills, plus being able to step into any scenario necessary. Go to his Web site to get more details information: www.danguslee.com.
Actually, this is truly the most important point! Who has the most contact with the prosecutor’s office? Law enforcement! And the majority of Grant County law enforcement totally endorse Angus Lee for prosecuting attorney. This includes the Washington State Patrol. Could it be that they like and approve of the job he’s doing? I think so!
Angus and Jen Lee are very much involved with the young people in our community. Talk to anyone involved with CB United Soccer. They moved here to live and raise their family in a safe environment, and his goal is to work and keep it that way.
