Candidates meet in Ephrata tonight

EPHRATA — The American Legion in Ephrata is hosting a candidate forum Friday night in Ephrata.

The forum begins at 7 p.m. and is located at 276 Eighth Ave. N.W.

Candidates running for office in the Soap Lake and Ephrata area were invited to attend.

Races include Grant County Prosecutor with candidates Grant County Prosecutor Angus Lee and Grant County Deputy Prosecutor Albert Lin, Ephrata City Council candidates incumbent Mark Wanke and challenger Clarke Morris and Soap Lake School District candidates incumbent John Marthini and challenger Wanda Fencl and incumbent Curtis Dotson and challenger Wayne Turner.

Each candidate will have five minutes to share an opening statement. Afterward they will answer questions from the audience.
