MOSES LAKE RECYCLING

| October 15, 2009 9:00 PM

My New Year’s resolution was to start recycling, but it wasn’t until summer I drove to our local recycling center.  (Yes, I know I procrastinate).  I was told to keep driving all the way to Spokane to get rid of all the plastics. With two teenagers in the house, we run through 3 gallons of milk per week times how many weeks? That’s a lot of plastic. Then there are those bright orange laundry detergent containers, but then I’d have to remember all the wash I do, and that would truly be depressing. For the modest cost of curbside recycling, we could reduce our dependency on foreign oil, and for those more dedicated than myself, save a trip to Spokane to recycle.
