MOSES LAKE CITY COUNCIL

Mayor Ron Covey has my support in the upcoming election for Moses Lake City Council. I have worked with Mayor Covey many times in the past 12 years and although we have not always agreed, our differences have been worked out with calm discussion.

Mayor Covey will listen to all sides of the issues and then do his “homework” to find out the best solution.

His dedication to Moses Lake and surrounding area is constant. As a long time resident of this community, he has knowledge of the history and can visualize and work toward the good things that can and will develop.

Moses Lake is growing and we need leaders who see the larger picture and not always vote for the quick and easy fix. This sometimes means they need to take the “heat” of an unpopular decision, which Dr. Covey has demonstrated. Experience and a mind open to new possibilities is required for this position.
