They’re gone! My 31 arborvitae, which I have given TLC for 29 years. They were just knocked down, gathered up and put in a dump truck and hauled off, like they were just a bunch of garbage. Sad. Makes tears.

We’re not the only ones hurt. Many people lost trees, parts of their drive-ways, and many shrubs. Guess what? We get planter strips and parking strips, which no one wants. We need a city council that will listen to the people and not try to make brownie points for themselves. They’ve messed up the road by the golf course, Third Avenue, Peninsula Drive, and I hear the road around the fairgrounds is next. What a waste of money.

Bill Ecret says to keep our property looking nice to keep the property values up. Why doesn’t he clean up his property out here on our street? If it was anyone else, I’m sure we would have had a citation – like parking your car in the wrong place …

We need a new city council from the bottom up … let’s vote them all out and put new ones in that will represent the people.
