Cheer camp is next week

MOSES LAKE — Students in kindergarten through sixth grades are invited to participate in the 2009 Moses Lake Parks and Recreation Cheer Camp beginning next week at Moses Lake High School.

The two-week camp begins Oct. 13 and will take place in the Moses Lake High School Commons and Gold Gym. The camp will continue on Oct. 15, Oct. 20, Oct. 22 and conclude with a performance at Lions Field Oct. 23 when the Moses Lake Chiefs host the Sunnyside Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m.

Registration for the camp is $30 and will include  pom-poms and a T-shirt.

The Moses Lake High School cheerleading squad will teach cheers, jumps and basic stunting techniques.
