Teen baseball meeting is Monday

MOSES LAKE — A meeting for parents and coaches interested in participating in one of two developmental baseball teams for 13- and 14-year-olds is Monday.

The teams are being created to make up for there being no middle school baseball, according to Moses Lake Chiefs Head Baseball Coach Ed McNamara.

The program is being put together by the Moses Lake High School baseball staff and Babe Ruth baseball. Tryouts will be held Saturday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Moses Lake High School baseball fields.

The meeting is Monday at 6 p.m., in the commons at Moses Lake High School, located at 803 E. Sharon Ave.
