Four arrested after fight in Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE — Four people were arrested on Airway Drive, near Moses Lake, for rioting and two people were hospitalized early Sunday morning.

A fight involving seven to 10 males was reported on Airway Drive, Grant County Undersheriff John Turley said Tuesday. It was reported several subjects were seen assaulting each other with bats, sticks and chains.

When law enforcement from the sheriff’s office, Moses Lake Police Department and Washington State Patrol arrived, several of the subjects fled to a residence. Two men were reportedly seen chasing the subjects and throwing items at the residence, he said.

Two males were taken to Samaritan Healthcare for treatment of injuries sustained in the fight.

Two juveniles were arrested for rioting, Turley said.

Alex Eduardo Alvizurez, 19, Moses Lake, was booked into Grant County Jail for felony riot.

Freddy Olivares, 24, Moses Lake, was booked for felony riot and malicious mischief in the third degree.
