| October 1, 2009 9:00 PM

Vivian M. Moholt, age 79, passed away September 29, 2009 in Vancouver, WA surrounded by her family. She was born to Amarette and Cecil Miles Golden February 7, 1930 in Goble, OR, but she and her brother grew up in the Prescott/Rainier area. Vivian met her would-be husband, Wesley Moholt, in junior high and sealed their fate when she selected him as her Sadie Hawkins Dance date. Wes and Vivian wed in 1950 and raised two loving children together.

Vivian never knew a stranger and will be remembered for always having a smile on her face. She was a caring woman who conveyed genuine interest in others and showed her deep love easily. She would send a multitude of greeting cards out each month with hand written messages, reaching out with a personal touch and making others feel remembered and special. Vivian was active in her church community and PEO, a philanthropic women’s organization. She loved any opportunity to entertain and socialize.

She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband Wesley; sons Ron (Linda) and Lyle (Linda); grandchildren Lisa, Lori (Todd), Spencer, Lauren, Rachael, and Julian; brother Cecil (Margaret); nephews Tom, David, and Paul; and nieces Katherine and Theresa.

A visitation will be held at Vancouver Funeral Chapel on Monday, October 5th from 10am-5pm. Her Memorial service will October 6th at 2pm at First United Methodist Church at 401 E 33rd St in Vancouver, WA. In lieu of flowers, a charitable contribution can be made in Vivian’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association at 12721 30th Ave NE #101, Seattle, WA 98125.
