FLU SHOTS

| October 1, 2009 9:00 PM

Currently there are many ads and selling techniques for people to risk the flu and swine flu shots.

Why would it be risky to get a flu shot? The first thing to look at is what happens if one does contract and get the flue? One can expect fever, headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose and body aches, as well as diarrhea and vomiting. Not pleasant. No one wants these symptoms, but most can tolerate these symptoms.

What are the negative effects of the flu shot? Soreness, redness or swelling, low-grade fever and other aches and pains. Life threatening complications are rare, but severe allergic reactions do happen. Some reactions include getting the flu, breathing problems, hoarseness or wheezing, hives, paleness, weakness, a fast heartbeat or dizziness. Serious side effects are Guillin-Barre Syndrome (GBS), this disease the body damages its own nerve cells, resulting in muscle weakness and sometimes paralyses. These are only symptoms established soon after being injected. But the flu shot has toxic metal, aluminum and mercury. Phenol and formaldehyde (a known cancer causing agent). There are already enough dangerous toxins in our environment without taking another chance with the flu shot.

What are the causes of a multitude of serious and chronic ailments?

I think I will wash my hands, stay away from people coughing in my face, eat washed raw fruits, vegetables and nuts. If I don’t feel quite right maybe gargle with an antiseptic and take some safe herbal medicines.

Certainly health reform would be good, but that should not include unnecessary risks.
