Sports for kids offered

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Parks and Recreation announced various sporting leagues for local children for hoops and wrestling.

Little Dribblers (boys ages K-6) and Little Hoopsters (girls same ages) Basketball will begin play on Saturday and continues for the next eight weeks, except Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

The site is Moses Lake High School’s Chief Gym and consists of two groups.

• Grades K-2 (11 a.m.-noon)

• Grades 3-6 (noon-1 p.m.)

The cost is $35 which includes a T-shirt.

Mat Muscle Wrestling is available for boys and girls.

The dates are Mondays, Dec. 7-Jan. 18, except for Dec. 28

It takes place at the high school wrestling room and go from 6-7 p.m. for grades K-1 and 7-8 p.m. for grades 2-6.

Cost is $35 and a T-shirt is included.

Registration, prior to the start date at the Parks and Recreation Office at 411 S. Balsam, is encourgaged.
