Marlene Kay Richardson

Marlene Kay Richardson, long time Marlin resident, passed away on Nov. 17, 2009.

Marlene was born in Lead, SD on June 13, 1951 to William and Edith Kruger. She later moved with her family to Rockford, IL where she resided until the fall of 1983. She then moved to Moses Lake, WA where she met and married Theodore Richardson. They made their home in Marlin.

Marlene is preceded in death by her husband Ted, son William Scroggins, and father William Kruger. She is survived by her daughter Edith and Shelton Gilley of Wilson Creek, daughter Lydia and Chris Palmen of Moses Lake and son Joe and Teresa Scroggins of Ephrata. She also has 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her kindness and generosity will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A small graveside service will be held on Nov. 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM in care of Benson Family Funeral Services.
