Moses Lake to use more cameras
MOSES LAKE — Surveillance cameras will be placed throughout Moses Lake in high crime areas to deter graffiti and vandalism.
The cameras are paid for through a Justice Assistance Grant.

The reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of someone responsible for graffiti or breaking windows was increased to $2,000, he noted. Previously the police department offered a $500 reward but it increased after several business owners offered reward money due to frustration with the vandalism.
Police reported there was a rash a subjects shooting at windows with BB guns causing them to shatter.
