Stanley Ray Wisch
Stanley Ray Wisch of Vancouver, WA passed away peacefully on November 9, 2009 with his family at his side at the age of 71. He was born on March 2, 1938 in Chinook, MT to Ruth and Eldor Wisch. When the U & I Sugar Factory closed in Chinook his family moved to Moses Lake, WA where his father worked at the plant there. Stan graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1956.
Stan began his career in banking in Moses Lake working for Peoples National Bank where he met his wife Phyllis. They were married February 3, 1962. After they were married they moved to Seattle, WA where their children were born.
Stan held many positions within the banking industry. He was a Teller, Operations Officer, Auditor, Loan Officer, Manager, Regional Credit Manager, and Assistant Vice President. He was also a past Kiwanis and Rotary President. In 1974 banking brought the family to Vancouver and they have considered Vancouver to be their home although he and Phyllis spent many of their years living throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Stan is survived by his daughter, Janet (Todd) Hamilton; son, Thomas (Rene) Wisch; grandchildren, Alex and Spencer Hamilton, Morgan, Andrew, and Abbie Wisch; and brother Larry Wisch.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years Phyllis L. Wisch, and his parents, Ruth and Eldor Wisch.
The family gives special thanks to their loving friends and to Hospice of SW Washington.
Memorial services will be held Friday, November 13, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 309 W 39th St., Vancouver, WA. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to your local Hospice organization or to Trinity Lutheran Church.
