This day and age one has to be careful where they invest their money, especially at election time. It seems Mayor Covey’s $500 investment in the Boys and Girls Club just before the election didn’t have the returns he was expecting. One factor over looked was that these kids were too young to vote. In retrospect, maybe a better choice would have been to donate $500 to battered women’s fund. In this town that would’ve brought in quite a few votes. Maybe even his victorious opponent might have voted for him.
