Lions Field hosts playoffs

MOSES LAKE — Although the Moses Lake Chiefs will wrap up their 2009 football season on the road Friday night, the stadium lights at Lions Field will continue to shine Saturday.

Moses Lake’s Lions Field will play host to the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association 1A classification playoffs Saturday.

The first of Saturday’s tripleheader between the Caribou Trail League and the Northeast A League will begin at 1 p.m. when the Freeman Scotties take on the Omak Pioneers.

The second game of the tripleheader is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. when the Kettle Falls Bulldogs meet the Cascade of Leavenworth, Wash., Kodiaks.

The final game of the tripleheader is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. when the Chewelah Cougars battle the Okanogan Bulldogs.

Admission for Saturday’s games is $8 for adults and $6 for senior citizens or students with ASB card.

Admission Saturday is good for all three games.
