Notice of Application and Public Hearing

On October 30,2009, Grant Transit Authority submitted an application for site plan review to construct a new 4,472 square foot building for administration and operations, and a new 9,274 square foot maintenance building at 8392 W. Westover Boulevard. The site is legally described as Lot 1, North Gateway Center Binding Site Plan. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on November 3, 2009. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: City of Moses Lake Municipal Code Title 18 Zoning, and Title 20 Development Review Process.

The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on December 10, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 411 Balsam Street. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comment.

Written comments on the environmental impacts of this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m on November 19, 2009. Written comments on other aspects of this proposal will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing. In addition, persons who want to be informed of future actions or the final decision on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner listed below. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in Moses Lake Municipal Code 20.11, Appeals.
