HUNTING SEASON
Here it is Saturday morning and it is the only day you do not have to get up by an alarm clock and you are blasted out of your bed by gunshots. Tis hunting season again, the sun is just barely over the horizon and they are out there shooting up a storm to get their prizes.
I really think the Dept. of Fish and Game need to reconsider where they let people hunt. I have nothing against hunting, but when it is right outside your bedroom windows and so close to where people live, it is really a dangerous thing to let people be shooting off guns.
People are afraid to even let their children in their backyards for fear of a stray bullet. Some of our neighbors do have pockmarks in our houses from bullets. Some people live by the lake and some live by Crab Creek.
I am just asking for a little consideration of the hunters to at least let us sleep in past the crack of dawn on a Saturday or Sunday, as we do have to work all week and enjoy a little peace and quiet on the weekends.
Thank you for letting me have my say on this.
