First and ten Chiefs!

I like to hear that sound from the 12th man team. I think it shows great support and encourages our players and us as spectators in a positive way.

I’ve got to say, that the Chiefs-Walla Walla game was another matter, where some members of the 12th man team had gone astray. “That’s a bush call ref,” “You suck,” and four letter words from the stands made my Chief pride very sad. All our kids and coaches could hear those negative and vermin expressions coming from behind them. Does that kind of chant boost up our kids to play harder? Does it help the officials to be less biased?

Moses Lake played a great game. Our coaches and boys are first class in my book. Lets be first class parents and spectators and leave that kind of talk in the closet. It will only cause negative attitudes and respect for all officials of little chiefs, as they grow up. Go Chiefs!
