Jason A. Watts

Jason A. Watts, 35, of Ephrata, passed away on May 24, 2009.

He was born in Portland, Ore., to Steve and Sharleen Watts of Amboy, Wash., on Jan. 6, 1974.

Jason attended Amboy schools before graduating from Battle Ground High School in 1992, where he was active in football, basketball, baseball, 4-H, and FFA.

He then attended Whitworth College in Spokane and graduated with a biology degree in 1996. He spent his last years working on the farm in Ephrata where he helped his dad, mom and grandfather.

Jason is survived by his parents, Steve and Sharleen Watts of Ephrata; three brothers, Brad Watts of Portland, Ore.; Aron Watts of Spokane; and Nathan Watts of Ephrata; one grandfather, Howard Pellham of Ephrata; two nephews; three nieces; uncles and aunts.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Scharbach’s Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy, concluding services and internment will follow in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
