MOSES LAKE — As a Moses Lake woman approached her South Juniper Drive home she saw it was in the process of being burglarized Friday afternoon.

The woman had been gone from her home for about 10 minutes, Moses Lake police reported. When she returned, she saw a gray BMX bike in her driveway that did not belong to her.

“A short moment later, a white male walked out the front door and a Hispanic male climbed out her basement window,” police reported. “They claimed they were looking for her brother-in-law whom they called by name.”

The white male left on the bike and the Hispanic male left on foot.

The home was searched and nothing was missing. Items in the home had been moved in preparation to be removed, police reported.

Police searched the area but did not find the suspects.

The white male who left on a bike is described as 5-foot 6-inches tall, early 20s, heavy build with a belly bulge wearing a black shirt, jeans and baseball cap. The Hispanic male was described as 5-foot 11-inches tall, early 20s, between 160 to 180 pounds wearing black jeans, black jersey with red and white numbers, black gloves and a black baseball cap.
