Margery Jo Yellish

Margery Jo Yellish, 72 of Orofino, Idaho, passed away May 6, 2009, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Lewiston, Idaho, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was born April 20, 1937, to Del and Lillian (Albin) Rothrock in Wenatchee, Wash. She attended and graduated from Entiat High School.

Margery married Lee Hensley in 1954 and were together until 1980. They had five sons together. She met and then married Jack Yellish in 2000. They resided in Orofino, Idaho.

Margery worked as a store manager at Skeen’s Western Wear from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. She then moved to Kohl’s managing that store from mid 1990s until 2000, when she retired.

She is survived by her husband Jack Yellish of Orofino, Idaho; five sons: Harold and Margie Hensley of Moses Lake, Byron and Jo Ann Hensley of Renton, Wash., Ron and Debbie Hensley of Spokane, Wash., Russ and Jill Hensley of Ephrata, Jim and Tammy Hensley of Brooking, Calif., 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Del and Lillian (Albin) Rothrock, brothers Harold Rothrock and Don Rothrock and great-granddaughter, Salim Jones.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Pine Hills Funeral Chapel in Orofino, Idaho. A graveside funeral will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Valley View Cemetery in Soap Lake. Memorial donations can be made in Margery Jo Yellish memory to: American Cancer Society. P.O.
