Ryan Travis Allison was born on Feb. 2, 1977, in Modesto, Calif.

Ryan is survived by his 4-year-old daughter Jaida Lea Allison, and fiancee, Wendy Kuppler, parents Fred and Deborah Allison; brother Troy Allison, sister-in-law Tracy Allison; nieces, Caitlin Allison and Ashley Allison; nephews Michael Allison and Matthew Allison, all from Ephrata; grandmother Judy Allison of Wilson, Okla., and grandfather Darrell Smith of Coos Bay, Ore.; uncles Don Allison of Ardmore, Okla., Don Marshall of Kalamazoo, Mich., Bob Choate of Mountlake Terrace, Wash., Jack Smith of Salem, Ore., Jon Williams of Cottage Grove, Ore.; aunts Linda Hale of Coos Bay, Ore., Loretta Sandusky, of Coos Bay, Ore., Debbie Ball of Oklahoma, Judy Smith of Bandon, Ore.; cousins Steven Allison, David Allison, Dylan Allison, Aaron Marshall, Jennifer Marshall, Anita Choate, Wendy Choate, Thomas Choate, Erik Williams, Heather Sandusky, Tracy Sandusky and Robert Sandusky.

Ryan enjoyed being with people. He was very social and fun loving. He enjoyed spending time at the lake, playing in the water with his daughter Jaida, and picnicking with friends. He was a single father raising his daughter with the assistance of his parents, Fred and Debby Allison, with whom he resided in Ephrata. Ryan enjoyed watching his daughter Jaida grow and experience Head Start School of Ephrata this year, and the joy Jaida has at school learning new things every day from her teachers Terri and Signey and seeing Jaida make friends at school and come home everyday and share with him her excitement in the new things she has learned, and the fun she has had with a friend that day. His greatest joy in life was his daughter. His greatest sorrow was that he knew he was sick and would have to leave Jaida at an early age.

Ryan entrusted Jaida to the care of his loving parents, and went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, his savior, on May 4, 2009, after an 11-day hospital stay at Deaconess Hospital, in Spokane. His fiancee Wendy Kuppler was at his side at the hospital throughout his hospitalization, and was with him and comforted him when he left this world for which we would like to thank her for being there during the times we weren’t able to be at his side, so that Ryan wasn’t alone in his final days.

We would also like to thank the staff of Deaconess Hospital for their loving care of Ryan, and the comfort and kindness they showed us at this most difficult time in our families life. Ryan was dearly loved by his mom and dad, and his big brother Troy Allison and his family. Ryan’s daughter Jaida adored her father and misses him beyond words as we all do. We are comforted knowing that we are saved through Jesus Christ our Lord and will be with Ryan again one day, so this isn’t good bye, it’s we will see you soon our beautiful loving son, enjoy the fellowship you are having with all our loved ones that have gone on before you that you and we have been missing, and give everyone up there our love until we are all reunited again in the Lord Jesus, and we will love and take care of Jaida for you. I know you will be watching over Jaida as she grows up. We will do our best to comfort her throughout her life when she has those special times in her life that she would love for you to be there with her and experience along with her physically, but we know you will be there watching from heaven. Jaida wants to send you a big hug and kiss to last until she gets to heaven and can give you more! Jaida says, “Tell Daddy I love him and I miss him so much!” We all miss you so much, all our love from your family and friends, until we meet again.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Heritage Baptist Church, 4334 Joanne Drive N.E., Moses Lake, WA 98837. Pastor Fred Scudder will be directing the service.
