Dorothy Marie O'Neal

Dorothy Marie O’Neal was born on May 24, 1918, in Clarkston, Wash., to William and Ruth Henniger.

She passed away peacefully in her sleep and went home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2009, at the Wisteria Assisted Living Facility in Moses Lake, where she was cared for 24 hours a day by Sylvia Hernandez.

Dorothy graduated from Enumclaw High School on June 3, 1937, and married Lambert O’Neal on Oct. 26, 1940. Lambert passed away on July 20, 1991, in Kennewick, Wash.

Dorothy is survived by her Son, Lonnie O’Neal and his wife Judi O’Neal, two grandchildren Kim and Micah Trautman and Sean and Daysha O’Neal, and five great-grandchildren, Mariah, Madison and Mitchell Trautman and Hayden and Ashton O’Neal. She is also survived by one sister-in-law Francis Henniger and one brother-in-law Robert O’Neal.

Many fond memories are remembered by her family and friends of Dorothy as she shared herself in her activities of camping, fishing, hunting, gardening and sharing with others.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009, at the Moses Lake Assembly of God located at 431 E. Brown Ave. in Moses Lake.
