Moses Lake storm water rate meeting is tonight

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake is hosting three public meetings concerning the establishment of a storm water utility rate.
All meetings are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The first meeting is tonight at the Moses Lake Fire Station located at 701 E. Third Ave. Two other meetings will be held at Chief Moses Middle School in the cafeteria May 14 and May 28.
The meetings are to determine how the city will proceed with collecting fees to pay for a storm water treatment program. The state requires Moses Lake treat its storm water.
The meetings are held in conjunction with the city’s storm water department and the Washington State Department of Ecology.
Ecology will present information and answer questions.
