MOSES LAKE — Three elementary school students entered Knolls Vista Elementary and made a mess Friday night.

The three suspects, who attend Knolls Vista and North Elementary, entered the unsecured building through the cafeteria and made messes in several classrooms, according to a Moses Lake police report.

Several classroom items were thrown throughout the rooms including pens, pencils and scissors, but no serious damages were reported.

Some graffiti was located, and soda and ice cream were stolen, said Special Assistant to the Superintendent P.J. De Benedetti with the Moses Lake School District.

A custodian cleaned the messes Saturday.

The students’ parents were contacted and punishment is being determined, he said.
