Sandra L. Wright

Sandra L. Wright passed away on April 26, 2009, in Deaconess hospital in Spokane.

Sandy, as she was known to her many friends, was born in Everett, Wash., on April 26, 1942. She lived in Everett until the summer of 1952 when she and her family moved to Wenatchee, Wash. She attended the sixth and seventh grades there. In the summer of 1954, she returned to Everett, Wash., where she graduated in June of 1960. On April 22, 1961, she married Dwight Elmer Goff. The family moved from Everett to Anchorage, Alaska, in 1962. While living in Anchorage, Dwight was killed in a military aircraft accident on July 16, 1966, off of Cape Lisburn, Alaska. She then moved to Moses Lake, where she and her family resided until 1983. She then moved to Kettle Falls, Wash., returning to Moses Lake for a brief time in 1988. She moved to Burien, Wash., in the winter of 1988 and remained there until January 2000. She returned to Moses Lake, where she married Edward “Ted” Wright on May 18, 2000.

Sandy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her loving husband Ted, her children Dennis Eugene Goff, Donna Louise Goff, DeeAnna Goff and Douglas Goff, her adopted children Edward “Wade” Kelly and Debra Anderson; her grandchildren Tyler Goff, Hayden Goff, Carter Goff, Leigha Goff, Joshua Grubb, Lacy Grubb, Hannah Goff, Aaron Goff, Keely Goff, Alex Goff, Haley Goff and Tia Goff; great grandchildren Britni Mae, Jeffery and Ethan Grubb; her sister Lila Owens and brother Robert G. Quigley.

Her grandparents Robert A. and Lila Quigley, her parents Robert and Dee Quigley, her husbands Dwight E. Goff and Kemmer C. Clark preceded her in death.

 Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. with funeral services with Bishop Brett Bergeson officiating will begin at 10 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2009, in the Nelson Road Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1849 E. NelsonRoad, Moses Lake. Burial and concluding services will immediately follow in Pioneer Memorial Gardens, Moses Lake.

Sandy’s family has asked Carver Family Funeral Home, Moses Lake to care for arrangements.
