Hansen removes name from support letter

EPHRATA — Grant County PUD Commissioner Greg Hansen told the Columbia Basin Herald on Monday he scratched his name off a support letter the commission recently approved.

The letter backed PUD General Manager Tim Culbertson and the utility’s employees. It was written and signed by all commissioners.

Hansen said he supported the employees, but not Culbertson because of the non-renewal of former PUD attorney Ray Foianini’s contract.
