Maiers Industrial Park Inc. submitted an application for a major subdivision on February 25, 2009. Additional required information was submitted on June 17, 2009.The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on June 19, 2009. The proposal is to create one platted lot of 23.01 acres north of Wheeler Road. A platting deferral was requested to defer street improvements to Wheeler Road and a waiver of the extension of the water main in Wheeler Road. The site is located in the Heavy Industrial Zone and is legally described as FU 77 BLK 41 LS TX#'s, Parcel #190461000. The following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 17: Subdivisions, Title 18: Zoning, Title 19: Growth Management, and Title 20: Development Review Process.

The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on August 27, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 411 Balsam Street. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comment.

Written comments on the environmental impacts of this project will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on July 20, 2009. Written comments on other aspects of the proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on the date of the public hear ing.
