MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Police Department and Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to what was reported as a large fight Saturday afternoon in Moses Lake.

The sheriff’s office assisted Moses Lake police with the call but Moses Lake police were not available for comment on Monday.

An off-duty police officer reported to emergency dispatch that he saw a large gang fight in progress, said Grant County Undersheriff John Turley. At least five males were involved.

The fight began on Grape Drive and extended toward Washington Street, with baseball bats being used as weapons, he said.

The incident led to the arrest of five people, according to the sheriff’s office.

Cameron Nicholas Ross, 19, Moses Lake, was booked into Grant County Jail for felony riot.

Enrique Renee Castro, 18, Moses Lake, was booked into jail for felony riot and a warrant concerning possession of stolen property in the second degree.

Eli Jaime Moncada, 18, was booked into jail for felony riot.

Jose Alberto Zepeda, 19, Moses Lake, was booked into jail for felony riot and driving with a suspended license in the third degree.

David Isaac Folden, 38, Warden, was booked into jail for attempted vehicular assault. It is unclear what Folden’s involvement in the incident was but he was arrested in connection with the case.

Further details about the incident were not available.
