Notice of Application and Public Hearing

On June 4, 2009, Tektonics Corp, representing the Seventh- Day Adventist Church, submitted an application for a conditional use permit and site plan review to build a new church at 1601 W. Valley Road. The site is legally described as Crestview Christian School Major Plat Lot 1. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on June 12, 2009. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: City of Moses Lake Municipal Code Title 14 Environmental Regulations, Title 16 Buildings and Construction, Title 18 Zoning, and Title 20 Development Review Process.

The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on July 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 411 Balsam Street. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comment.

Comments on the environmental impacts of this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m on June 26. Written comments on other aspects of the proposal will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing. In addition, persons who want to be informed of future actions or the final decision on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner listed below. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in Moses Lake Municipal Code 20.11, Appeals.
